Toys “R” Us — a staple of many childhoods — has fallen on tough times. The once-mighty toy seller filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September 2017 and is closing stores across the U.S. But despite the turbulence, Toys “R” Us still introduced an augmented reality (AR) experience in all U.S. stores in October 2017.
